Wildlife watching can be pursued from this area as there is much to see.
Oyster catchers, herring gulls, great black backed gull, cormorant, eider ducks (local name dunters) are just a few of the seabirds you may see at the coast.
Bottle nosed dolphins can sometimes be seen rising out of the water in a seies of leaps.
There are many coastal walks and cycle routes.
Distilleries, castles and golf courses are dotted about the area.
Pony trekking is available in the local area.
Wildlife cruises can be offered by two seperate boats operating out of Buckie.
For the more adveturous I would recommend North 58 operating out of Banff, they offer high speed cruises.
This is just a fraction of the activities available on this coastal stretch.
